With a collaborative network of different disciplines, OSF Innovation has the capacity to continually design, implement and scale bold, strategic solutions to advance the future of health care. Our ecosystem of expertise empowers us to bring in ideas from a diverse set of sources in- and outside the walls of OSF HealthCare at any stage of development.
Cultivating Ideas
Internally, Mission Partners are inspired to solve for issues the Ministry faces through the OSF Innovation Studio, OSF Innovation Labs and programs that help clinicians harness their creativity. Partnerships with academic institutions via the Innovation Academic Incubator encourage collaboration between Mission Partners and researchers to produce concepts that have never been thought of before. And Performance Improvement and OSF Ventures discover and validate external products, technologies and services based on the Ministry’s needs.
Applying rigor from start to finish
Whether internal or external, all prospective solutions go to OSF Innovation leadership for review to determine whether they align with our focus areas or the Ministry’s broader strategy. If they do, selected concepts are funneled into Performance Improvement’s Innovation Portfolio Management Office where they are assigned data, digital, simulation or engineering assets for development, validation, testing, implementation or scale, undergoing analysis at every stage.
